There are some weekends that stay with you forever.

From May 15–18th 2026, families from across British Columbia came together for our Wings of Remembrance Retreat, a weekend dedicated to honouring, remembering, and speaking the names of 27 deeply loved and deeply missed babies.
Together, we shared stories, shed tears, found moments of laughter, created meaningful memories, and were reminded of something so many bereaved parents long to hear: you are not alone.

We wanted to share a little bit more of the impact this weekend had on all our hearts. Every candle lit, every baby's name spoken, every conversation shared, and every embrace reminded us that love does not end when a life is too short. Our babies continue to be remembered, honoured, and carried with us always.

To every parent who trusted us with your stories, your babies and your hearts, thank you. It was an incredible privilege to walk alongside you.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous partners, Canuck Place Children's Hospice, BC Nurses' Union (BCNU), and Envision Counselling, whose support made this retreat possible and ensured families could attend regardless of financial circumstances. Your commitment to compassionate bereavement care has helped us create spaces where healing, connection, and remembrance can happen.🦋💙
