How do you honour someone’s life after death?

Jessica’s family raised $10,000 in memory of her dad, who died of cancer. Some want to support cancer research. Others want to support youth sports, because he loved sports and coached kids.

Why don’t more people donate publicly traded securities?

Many donors still don’t know this option exists. And even when they do, not every charity is set up to accept securities directly.

A donor-advised fund can help make the process easier. With a DAF, you can donate publicly traded securities once, receive a tax receipt, and then recommend gifts to the registered charities you want to support over time.

Watch the video to hear John explain how this works and why it can be useful for donors who want to support multiple charities.

For many donors, that means more of the gift can go toward the causes they care about.

Watch our CEO, John Bromley, explain how donating securities can help your giving go further.

Cause Funds are led by trusted experts with deep knowledge and lived experience. They direct donations made by donors and others towards charities working together to drive change. This helps donors give to causes they care about, but don't know how to pick the best charities.
