WHRI covered the Healthy Aging Among Trans People Using Hormone Therapy: Setting the Research Agenda project for Trans Day of Visibility this year. The project is a community-consultative process to clarify research priorities related to aging and gender-affirming endocrine care. The current phase involves a survey of trans community members and clinicians who work with trans people.

The COVID-19 pandemic dramatically increased use of virtual healthcare in Canada. In pediatric diabetes care, we know patients like this increased accessibility overall, but what are the impacts on clinicians providing this virtual care? A new article led by endocrinologists and researchers at BC Children's Hospital analyzes interviews with diabetes care practitioners to explore this question.

New article out today in CMAJ, the Canadian Medical Association Journal! As part of a larger CIHR-funded study about how the early COVID-19 pandemic affected perinatal experiences in Ontario & BC, we looked at vaccination during pregnancy for those who gave birth in early 2019 (before COVID), 2021 (COVID but no C19 vaccine yet), and 2022 (COVID pandemic and vaccines available) in Ontario.
