Thai Iced Tea with Coconut Milk paired with Honey Banana Rosin.

I have been playing around with more spice pairings lately. Thai tea contains the spices star anise, cardamom, tamarind, and in some cases may contain vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, and even a dash of orange blossom water.

The star anise is the base of the flavor providing a sweet licorice profile.

Cardamom is highly aromatic and provides a bright complex flavor that really helps to bring out additional notes in Cannabis that you don’t normally notice.

The Tamarind gives it a unique sweet and sour tang.

I prefer to add coconut milk in my Thai tea instead of milk both because I love the flavor combination the addition of tropical sweet coconut milk (it really helps to balance this pairing in my opinion) and because I cannot have dairy.

The pairing also works great with traditional Thai tea with Milk. It was actually the standout pairing .meet using the Honey Banana.

The Honey Banana strain itself is cross of Strawberry Banana and Honey Boo that has Myrcene, Limonene, and Caryophyllene that has a slightly spicy aroma and an earthy undertone which make it the perfect partner for the Thai Tea pairing.

It’s relaxing and euphoric effect would normally be amplified with the Terpenes in play. However, since Thai tea is full of caffeine, I have found that it gives you lots of energy without the caffeine jitters due to the large amounts of relaxing Myrcene and uplifting Caryophyllene.

Honey Banana by itself is a very bright and palate staining profile, which gives it more versatility.

A lot of cultivars lose some flavor notes when consumed out of an electronic device such as a . But the flavor profile of Honey Banana holds strong and tastes the same out of rig as it does in Puffco.

I was super stoked to find a booth selling Thai Iced Tea with a scoop of coconut milk ice cream! Since I always roll with my Puffco, I find myself buying Thai teas to drink and dab with my jar of Honey Banana on the drive home. It’s becoming an addiction tbh.
