Over the course of her time with 34F Ayaka has continued to elevate her craft as an interior designer and establish her position as an integral part of the team. Lighting is one of the most critical design elements in a space. Whether providing general illumination, decorative impact, safety, or operational communication. In this 'lights off/lights on' side-by-side comparison you can see how the right light fixture and application act as a visual cue to indicate when this private space is in use or occupied—a critical functional detail for our client in this downtown Toronto build-out.
Architectural materials and finishes impact both the aesthetic and the overall longevity of an interior space. Materials should be selected carefully to fulfill both of these functions. This finish palette was developed for one of our educational clients, and they haven't shied away from a little colour or texture. The finished environment will result in an energetic, fun, and durable space suitable for a busy campus!
