Who needs a map?

In my latest blog, I detail all the changes I can see with the 2026 park map! Link in bio, but here are the highlights—

What’s New?
- The DareDeviler
- KidZville drink station
- List items (Victoria Falls High Dive, Goldrush Desserts, etc.)

What’s Missing?
- Speed City Raceway
- Chicken Shack
- Chaperone policy

What’s Different?
- Dining & Snack Plan icons
- App prompt

I also point out some errors, both subjective and objective… 🫣
- Moosehorn Falls no longer has a connecting path
- Two ride names left off the map itself
- Tiny Tom Donuts misspelled
- No floral flag

Even if paper maps (available at Guest Services) have already been printed with these errors, hopefully can update the web version. I say this with the utmost respect for the difficult task of creating and updating maps for every park across the chain.

The park map and all associated copyrights therein belong to the respective owners. Screenshots are provided for the purposes of review and commentary.

Did you know the term “midway” came from a World Expo?

This final part in my World Expo Exposé series details some of the major milestones of amusement park developments from past world expos. Spoiler: The Eiffel Tower, the Ferris Wheel, Disney’s “it’s a small world,” and La Ronde all have their origins in world expos!

Read “Midway Origins” linked in bio.

Way back in 2021, Canada’s Wonderland featured two pieces I wrote about the inspiration and history behind The Grande World Exposition of 1890. But originally there was another part to this series. It had less of a direct connection to Wonderland’s World Expo themed area, so we agreed it didn’t make sense to post it on the park’s official blog.

But now I’ve got my own blog where I can feature stuff from all the internet rabbit holes I’ve gone down! 😜
