The federal government just launched a new loan program for Canadian airlines facing rising fuel costs — and the details matter for anyone watching how Ottawa responds to economic pressure on Canadian industries.
Here's what was announced:
✈️ The Liquidity for Airline Sector Resilience facility will offer eligible Canadian airlines up to $150 million in repayable liquidity support through the Canada Enterprise Emergency Funding Corporation (CEEFC).
⛽ This builds on existing relief measures, including the temporary removal of the federal fuel excise tax from April 20 to September 7, 2026 — reducing costs by 4 cents per litre on aviation fuel.
Airlines receiving support must commit to Buy Canadian, protect Canadian jobs, maintain domestic operations, and restrict executive compensation and dividends.
This program is targeted at large carriers — not SMEs. But it signals something important: when Canadian industries face real financial pressure, the federal government moves quickly with structured support.
If you're an SME owner wondering what funding programs exist for your business right now — that's exactly what we help with.
💡 Government funding isn't just for big corporations. SMEs have options too.

Toronto invests millions every year in arts and culture organizations — and most eligible groups never apply.
Programs like Cultural Hotspot (up to $22,000), Local Arts Service Organization grants ($317K–$441K), and the COOP Program (up to $1.5M for major institutions) exist specifically to support community-based cultural work across the city.
The barrier isn't eligibility. It's preparation. Most applications fall short not because the organization doesn't qualify — but because the project plan, budget, or community impact section isn't strong enough to compete.
Swipe through for the full breakdown of what's available, who qualifies, and what a fundable application looks like.
🎨 Strong application. Right program. Real funding. 📍 Serving organizations across Ontario — based in Vaughan.
