Last week, I attended the Global WSI Convention in Los Cabos, Mexico - and the theme could not have been more fitting:

๐—ช๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—œ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป.

Yes, we talked about AI.
Yes, we talked about the future of marketing.
Yes, we talked about how fast business is changing.

But my biggest takeaway?

Innovation is not just about technology.

One of the highlights for me was Angie Carelโ€™s excellent presentation on Claude and how AI can support smarter, more practical work for businesses and agencies.

Another standout was Andrew Davis and his session on the ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐˜†๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜๐˜† ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฝ - a great reminder that growth is not only about getting new customers, but also about creating moments that keep people coming back, referring, and trusting you more.

I am also incredibly grateful to have received an award at this yearโ€™s convention. Recognition is always special, but receiving it in a room full of smart, generous, forward-thinking business owners made it even more meaningful.

I left Los Cabos with new ideas, stronger relationships, and a clear reminder:

The next wave of growth will belong to businesses that stay curious, adapt quickly, use AI wisely, and keep the human side of marketing at the center.
