Born in April 2024, Aspen was just 20 days old when her journey began. What started as a routine check-up quickly turned into weeks at BC Children’s Hospital, countless tests, and the reality of an unknown liver disease.

Through months of hospital stays and uncertainty, Aspen never lost her spark. When the time came, her care team connected her with Stollery Children’s Hospital, where her family learned she would need a transplant.

At 17 months old, that moment came. After an 8-hour surgery, Aspen emerged strong, with a new liver and a new chapter ahead.

Today, she’s thriving and back to causing as much Aspen chaos as possible while her family holds deep gratitude for her donor and the support from the David Foster Foundation, who helped them stay by her side when it mattered most.
