When movement just feels like a fun Saturday outing with a girlfriend…

💧💧💧~ think cardio, repetitive barre inspired movements, sneaky choreo that with have your b***y poppin and hips swayin’, then take it down to the floor for a real glute & core burn that will have you giggling through the crampy pain. Before you know it, you’re done and riding the endorphins you just shook up.

We spend so much time outputting our energy to our work, family, partners, pets, friends, etc. it’s so important to carve time out for YOU, your body, your mind. It’s a bonus when you find something that’s fun and doesn’t feel like a chore.

So, follow and keep your eyes peeled for next month’s class to scoop your spot. I hope to see you there 🫶🏽

While Asana (postures) is the most popular limb of yoga, it is only one component of this holistic system, which also includes ethical restraints, personal observances, breathwork, and deep meditation

The 8 limbs of yoga, outlined in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra

1. Yama (Restraints): Ethical standards and social ethics, including non-violence (ahimsa), truthfulness (satya), non-stealing (asteya), sexual responsibility (brahmacharya), and non-greediness (aparigraha).

2. Niyama (Observances): Self-discipline and inner discipline, including cleanliness (saucha), contentment (santosha), austerity (tapas), self-study (svadhyaya), and surrender to a higher power (ishvara pranidhana).

3. Asana (Postures): Physical postures designed to strengthen and purify the body to prepare it for long periods of meditation.

4. Pranayama (Breath Control): Techniques used to regulate the breath and extend the life force, or prana.Pratyahara (Withdrawal of the Senses): Turning the focus inward by detaching from external sensory input.

5. Dharana (Concentration): Cultivating a single point of focus for the mind.

6. Dhyana (Meditation): A state of uninterrupted flow of concentration or quiet, focused contemplation.

7. Samadhi (Enlightenment/Absorption): A state of profound union with the Divine or universal consciousness, characterized by peace and joy. Significance
