Congratulations UVic Graduates of 2026!!! We were thrilled to celebrate some of our CILR graduates from Mowachaht-Muchalaht First Nation last night at the Indigenous Recognition Ceremony. Whether you were celebrating with us or at home in your community, we want to acknowledge your hard work and dedication to language revitalization. We can't wait to see what you get up to next! 🎓

⭐️Indigenous Recognition Ceremony - Expression of Interest

✨Are you graduating this June 2026? If so, IACE wants to celebrate you in a special way this June at the upcoming Indigenous Recognition Ceremony (IRC)!

ℹ️IRC is a unique celebration incorporating a traditional Coast Salish blanketing ceremony. The ceremony provides an opportunity for graduates, their families, friends, Elders and the university community to come together, share a meal and to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of Indigenous students who have reached this significant milestone in their academic journey.

❗️Please take a moment to complete a short survey to express your interest. This survey is intended to provide IACE with a tentative number of graduates. Interested graduates will be contacted later with a formal registration link.
