🚴‍♀️Meet our second rider, Jeff King, a hero behind the handlebars 💛

The 2026 End2endcancer Relay is officially underway, and we’re beyond proud to introduce our 9 riders🚴‍♂️who will be riding nonstop from June 16th-18th 2026, from Victoria to Port Hardy and back in under 2 days to help raise awareness and funds for the Island Kids Cancer Association.

👉 Second up, Jeff is a familiar face to Vancouver Islanders as co-host of CHEK News’s The Upside and, before that, as a sports anchor at the station. Why is the Saskatchewan-raised 58-year-old riding the End2End relay? Because it’s the right thing to do. “I’ve met so many families dealing with cancer and I’m in a position with some profile to help.”

Jeff moved to Victoria from his job as a sports reporter at Global Regina a quarter century ago. He and wife Azure have two sons, Cole, 14 and Cooper, 12.
