A tradition 95 years strong! 🍦

Every year since 1931, Ice Cream Day has brought smiles and sweet treats to students and staff across SMUS, all thanks to Kyrle C. Symons, who believed every student deserved a scoop on his 50th birthday.

From 72 scoops to over 1,000, the tradition lives on. Special thanks to Michael Symons (’63) and our alumni for helping us keep the tradition alive. 💙

Sensory bottles and calming kits in tow ⭐️

Middle School Service Council students used their recent council meetings to create sensory bottles and stress balls; the end goal being to put together "calming kits" to donate to The Foundry Victoria.

During their field trip, they learned how youth in Victoria can access mental health and wellness supports through The Fondry, as well as hear about the services provided and the importance of creating safe, supportive spaces for young people.

Dominic Ely ’26, a Chancellor’s Scholar, is heading to Queen's University this fall to study Commerce - arriving with a business he's already built.
