June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the achievements of the 2SLGBTQI+ community and recognize the ongoing importance of advocacy, inclusion, and belonging π³οΈβπ
Many Indigenous communities have long recognized and honoured people who today may identify as Two-Spirit. While teachings and roles vary among Nations, Two-Spirit people have often held important cultural, spiritual, and community responsibilities.
Join us in celebrating the contributions of Two-Spirit and LGBTQI+ people and reflecting on the importance of creating spaces where all people feel seen, respected, and connected.
Happy Pride and Indigenous History Month!π§‘π
