Past the First Date

Struggling to get past the first date? Here are 5 things we recommend avoiding:

1. If you’re having money issues, don’t talk about it
2. Do not mention past relationships- your date does not care about your ex!
3. Avoid politics.. this one is pretty straight forward.
4. Don’t complain- complaining sends the message that you don’t have control over your own life
5. Don’t talk about yourself the entire time- make sure the conversation is balanced and actually LISTEN to what they have to say.

It’s important to go deeper than surface level topics, however, save the touchy topics for a date down the road.
