My steady state..
What goes on in an artist's mind when they find a potential buyer v/s what they actually say out loud. Funny reel on artwork
This painting illustrates a paradox called the modern city. It has many apartments, skyscrapers, cars, fancy food, and all the luxury in the world. Yet there are fellow human beings for whom basic necessities are too much to ask. To them its a parade of cars, suits, and white collars, with all its cacophony.
Then there is the middle class people, people who toil hard enough to make sure an affluent lifestyle. They own a roof over their head for sure, but sometimes too busy working to spend an entire day under it. Home is supposed to be a place of refuge, a place of comfort, and a place to share and care. Has the word lost its meaning nowadays? Because even when they come home, they stare at the digital screens of phones and computers and get lost in the virtual world of self-satisfaction and validation. Is this progress? Is this what we call civilisation?
So, where are we heading?
I am an artist trend
A painting that depicts the emotions of a refugee mother and her daughter. Please like, comment, and share. Some of my paintings are difficult to sell, but I created them anyway because I felt it was important to bring these conversations into the open.
Watch till the end :)
It's all about how I overthink during the finishing touch sessions
Some stories are about joy, hope, and dreams. Others are stories no child should ever have to live.
As I reveal this portrait, I cannot stop thinking about the children whose lives are being shaped by war, displacement, and decisions made far away from the places where the consequences are felt. Recent reports of attacks affecting schools and children in Iran are a heartbreaking reminder that behind every headline is a face, a family, a future interrupted.
Sometimes, as an artist, I feel painfully ineffective. A painting cannot stop a bomb. A portrait cannot change a political decision.
But perhaps art can do one small thing: it can ask us to look. To see a child not as a statistic, but as a person. To remember that every face carries a world within it.
This portrait is for the children whose stories deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered.
