We hope everyone in the Kitchener Waterloo area can participate in this event to help raise money and awareness for children's mental health in Waterloo Region.

TODAY'S THE DAY! While we may not be able to gather together physically, nothing will stop us from coming together as a community to support children, youth and their families who are struggling with mental health.

So let's take VIRTUAL STEPS FOR KIDS and share our walks online using the hashtag . Let's show kids that they are not alone!

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, businesses in our community have stepped up to help those on the front line and those who are suffering.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterloo - St. Jacobs Area continues to help the KW community by taking in donations for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region of Waterloo to make sure everyone has food during this time. They’ve also provided a special Health Care Professional rate for those who are here, working in health care, and need a place to stay.

Today, we are highlighting the amazing work that Vidyard is doing to keep during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Look for the helpers” is a phrase we’ve all heard from Mr. Rogers. It’s a phrase that reassures our youth that there will always be people out there helping to make a difference when times are hard.

One of these helpers is Nutrition for Learning. The Nutrition for Learning team is out there daily with their POP UP Snack Vehicles, stopping at various KW schools, handing out food to ensure no students go hungry at this uncertain time.

We’d like to thank Nutrition for Learning for their commitment to our youth and for keeping .
