LRtronix is based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. We provide products and services to the Canadian marketplace solely.
The company founder has been involved in the automotive aftermarket since the 1980s. In 2004, in response to the increasing popularity of LSx drivetrains being retrofitted into custom vehicles, we began offering tuning services for these platforms.
This led to the formation of LRtronix in 2010, when we began providing LSx Powertrain Control Systems (wiring harnesses and computers) to commercial clients. This service was expanded in late 2016 to include both commercial clients, and the general public.
LRtronix is primarily structured as a mail order company. We do not operate a retail sales counter, and as such, all incoming and outgoing products are handled via third party shipping companies.
Why LRtronix ?
Our wiring harnesses are custom made to meet the needs of each individual customer. This includes the often unique layout of the LSx drivetrain in the custom vehicle, and the specific features desired by the individual customer. The end result is a highly refined, feature rich, Powertrain Control System. This may be as simple, or as complex, as the individual customer would like. This is not only the result of our specially designed wiring harnesses, but also of our unique ability to program the computer(s) to incorporate these features. We offer fully integrated systems that you will not find anywhere else.
Our wiring harnesses exemplify what premium quality should mean. They are constructed from OEM quality TXL wire, using OEM grade connectors and terminals from Bosch, Delphi, Molex, and Kostal. The wiring harnesses are covered with a one piece (solid) braided loom style sheathing. The Electrical Centre (Fuse Panel and Relays) is also constructed of OEM grade components.
The typical length of the main trunk of the wiring harness is 48 inches - allowing the computer(s) and Electrical Centre to be mounted under the hood or inside of the vehicle. Also, an OEM grade Firewall Grommet is incorporated into the construction of each wiring harness, and may be positioned (slid) to any location on the main trunk length.
Our manufacturing process includes multiple quality assurance checks at various stages of the overall process. This attention to detail and commitment to excellence are what creates a superior product.
Further, where LRtronix differs from other mail order companies is with respect to our tuning services. We continue to offer “house calls”, or “at your location” tuning services - which is how things got started back in 2004. Our service area includes portions of both Southern Ontario and Southwestern Ontario.
