The Mariam Foundation, as the largest organization supporting Palestinian cancer patients in Gaza, the West Bank, and Nazareth, is marking yet another important milestone. The opening of the Mariam Theatre reflects a commitment not only to supporting those facing illness, but also to fostering culture, creativity, education, and community. CIDO is proud to partner with the Mariam Foundation and remains committed to working together in service of humanity and in support of Palestine. As Canadians, we are also proud of Canada’s recognition of Palestine last September and of our Prime Minister Mark Carney’s leadership and commitment to peace, dignity, and justice.
