This week, we had the privilege of attending and exhibiting at the Alliance for Healthier Communities Conference, joining health system leaders, community organizations, and primary care advocates in important conversations about the future of equitable, integrated care in Ontario.

Several key themes stood out. Jennifer Rayner challenged us to move beyond measuring attachment volume and focus instead on attachment readiness, the coordinated onboarding, navigation, and trust-building that makes primary care relationships meaningful and lasting. Dr. Andrew Boozary's keynote underscored a critical systemic issue: chronic underfunding of social care drives far greater and less efficient spending in acute settings. The path forward requires realigning how we pattern spending across social and primary care, and recognizing that attachment is about long-term relationships, not just metrics. The question, as was echoed throughout the conference, is no longer whether reform is needed, but why not now.

We also had the opportunity to connect with many attendees at our booth about the role of digital enablers in advancing these goals. Solutions like eReferral and E2P support timely access, system navigation, and reduced administrative burden, and there was strong interest in our upcoming AI initiatives as the sector looks to thoughtfully integrate AI into care delivery.

We are grateful for the conversations and connections made, and leave further inspired in our commitment to supporting people-centred, connected care.

As healthcare continues to evolve digitally, so do the risks associated with cybersecurity and privacy. Protecting patient information, maintaining trust, and ensuring safe care delivery now require strong, up-to-date digital safety practices.

Cybersecurity is a core competency in modern healthcare, and ongoing education plays a critical role in strengthening it across teams and organizations.

Our Shield program is designed to help healthcare professionals and organizations build practical, real-world cybersecurity and privacy skills that can be applied directly in clinical and administrative settings.

Shield also offers up to 12.5 Mainpro+ Certified Credits, supporting continuing professional development while strengthening confidence in managing digital risks. By combining applied learning with accredited education, Shield helps teams better identify risks, strengthen safeguards, and support safer care in an increasingly connected system.

Last week, members of our team attended the Enabling Integrated Care event in Barrie, focused on advancing collaboration, coordination, and innovation across the healthcare system.

The event brought together healthcare professionals to explore how integrated models of care can improve access, strengthen communication across teams, and better support patients and clinicians across care settings.

Key themes included the role of digital health in enabling integration, practical approaches to system transformation, and the importance of cross-sector collaboration in building more connected care pathways.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside peers and contribute to conversations shaping the future of integrated care in Canada!

πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Celebrating Pride Month Through Inclusion and Belonging

June marks Pride Month, a time to recognize the diversity, strength, and resilience of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and to reaffirm the importance of inclusion in every space, including healthcare.

Pride is rooted in both celebration and continued progress. It invites us to consider how systems can better reflect and support the people they serve, and where gaps in equity and access still need attention.

At Amplify Care, we are committed to supporting more inclusive approaches to digital health and care delivery, approaches that recognize lived experience and help reduce barriers across the system. This Pride Month, we join in celebrating 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and the ongoing work toward more inclusive, equitable care for all.

🌈 Happy Pride Month from all of us at Amplify Care!
