At an early age Nissi's parents went to their local hospital to inquire about having his Blount's disease treated but were quoted a fee far beyond what they could ever hope to save up or afford. Like many of our new patients, they were then referred to us by a family that had once been patients themselves at our center. We love to hear that people are recommending us to their neighbours and even complete strangers who they see are in need.

Nissi underwent a corrective osteotomy at our center. This involved cutting wedges in his femur and tibia bones in order to bring them into a straight axis. He spent months in casts with crutches followed by more time in knee braces. He's now a new boy with a new life!
