Backed by two decades of experience in mobile development and software architecture (BlackBerry), Cat helps individuals and corporations better understand cybersecurity and data privacy.

She specializes in global privacy regulation compliance and delivering privacy education seminars. She is a member of the Canadian Standards Council for GDPR and the CIO Standards committee on Privacy. She has worked with tech start-ups through to large organizations in a breadth of industries including healthcare, government, and emerging technologies.

Cat was named one of Canada's Top 20 Women in Cybersecurity 2021.

The Binary Tattoo page is retiring... sort of.
First, thank you to everyone who has visited, followed, and interacted with this page over the last 7+ years. It is recognized and appreciated.
BUT over the last year Facebook has made it incredibly difficult to manage a business page in a way that allows the managing individual to be private. And well, as a privacy focused business, that doesn't make sense. For example, I used to post a lot of my content from an outside tool (Hootsuite). Now if I want to use Hootsuite I have to allow it through a setting that lets Facebook follow me *personally* around the internet on every site I visit. That's a hard pass. And without Hootsuite I have to log in frequently, again as myself, allowing Facebook to scoop up more personal data. The page will stay up (for now) but posting will be infrequent.
