Hi guys,
Henry the dog will no longer be performing with TYFL.
Unfortunately, Henry was so beloved and adorable that it began to make several of our members feel uncomfortable because the spotlight “was no longer on me” as they said.
Improv is a performance based on every person on stage trying their best to make the scene exclusively about them, and a dog unfortunately is a little too good at this.
This came to a head when Henry put on sunglasses during weekend at Bernie’s and the crowd started chanting “WHAT A COOL DOG!” repeatedly. We understand appreciation of the show but dogs can’t even understand english so it was a little uncalled for.
As a result we’ve decided to cut ties with Henry the dog.
For future, we request that no attention be given to the various animals who join our troupe, including our newest member Larry the Emu.

What a wonderful show!! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support!

We can’t believe it’s been one year since our first official TYFL show! We are so grateful to our wonderful followers and the amazing support of the Waterloo Improv community - a community we are so lucky to be a part of!

We look forward to another year of bringing laughs, play, and Cameron Weir.
