I have been in many homes and although my strategies can overcome most, it is always important to acknowledge that each person faces different challenges when trying to organize or declutter their space.

One commonality I have noticed is that unfortunately, these problems sometimes have the overwhelming power to discourage the most motivated person when they are left to figure it out on their own.

Though my job title is commonly “organizer”, a few other “hats” I wear are motivator, support person and planner. When someone finds it impossible to get organized and live in their home comfortably, I come in and provide that push of confidence and effort to let you see the light under all the household stressors.

People might think that “it will just get messy again”. Well, yes, just like anything in life, accountability will always play a part in the process. I talk through the organizational issues with you, but I also discuss what can be done to avoid getting back to the same state.

My main job is to make sure you don’t feel alone, and you don’t lose your ambition. It’s also important to remember that the outcome doesn’t have to be perfect or resemble a show you saw on Netflix (but we will try 😜). It’s going to make you feel good about what you’ve accomplished and feel like you can continue the process once I have left.

I have witnessed it time and time again; organizing your home can truly be life changing.

One of my favourite things it to help clients figure out the “what now?” stage of organizing a home.

Don’t feel like you need to rush to find those items for a certain spot in your home. Take your time, shop around, and make sure you’re really in love with it. By doing this you avoid overspending due to over buying.
