Lessons in Stillness from a Tiny Neighbor

For the past five days, I’ve been watching this boxelder bug transform from a nymph to this size. At first, I thought it was gone—caught in a near by spider’s web, completely motionless. Then yesterday, it moved.

It has spent nearly a week being completely still. No rushing,..........Just existing.

It reminded me that stillness is often the most critical part of growth, but not always welcomed or honored. When we are waiting for a new chapter, our instinct is to push forward, But real transformation requires patience, compassion, and a sacred surrender.

What stillness gives us:

🛑 Rest: Time to replenish our vital life force energy.

🍂 Shedding: Space to let go of what no longer serves us.

🧠 Integration: Room to intergrate new wisdom and truths.

👁️ Acceptance: A chance to look back with gratitude for the closing cycle.

Growth isn't always about hustling. Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is be still, honor and accept where you have been and where you are, regenerate, and trust the process. Knowing that you and everything is perfect right now in this very moment ⏳✨
