Congratulations to all of the contestants in tonight's international speech contest and especially Kris who came in 2nd place representing Brooklin Toastmasters.

Congrats club president Bruce Richardson for finishing 1st at Area E81 humorous speech contest! Bruce will now be moving on to Division E contest on November 25th! Go Bruce Go!!!

Brooklin Toastmasters took home two first place certificates in tonight's area speech contests. Dennis Bartel taking first in Table Topics and Bruce Richardson taking first in the Humorous Speech contest. Both will move on to compete at the division level on November 25th.

Brooklin Toastmasters is proud of those who participated in our six-week improved public speaking courses. On May 27th, we celebrated with a graduation ceremony for the 7 who bravely took the opportunity to improve their public speaking skills.

Through the course, with the aid of the Speechcraft digital experience, they gave three speeches, took on other roles, practiced impromptu speaking, gave feedback, and listened to lessons covering the fundamentals of public speaking.
