UPDATE:

Thought I had better pop in and give everyone an little update...

As many of you know we had decided to take on less clients this year due to my uncle having a major health crisis in January, and me not knowing how in-depth my responsibilities would become.

Being his legal advocate & medical heath proxy, I have to be there to communicate wishes to the medical teams, health providers, legal team and for the upkeep of his finances & estate.

I have been running back & forth between Vernon & home multiple times a month since the middle of January. All while trying to run two households and my business from the road.

My uncle under went a major surgery to remove his leg below the knee and he also had a pacemaker put in.

He is currently in a rehabilitation clinic going through the healing process and extensive physiotherapy to prepare him for a prosthetic leg. He's getting stronger by the day and is the healthiest that I have seen him in a very long time.

With the possibility of my uncle being released from the rehabilitation clinic before a spot opens up in an assisted living facility, it has us scrambling to line up in-home care & make adjustments within the home for his possible arrival.

We all know how taxed our current health care system is and how long it takes to make any progress within it. I am so thankful that my mom is able to stay in Vernon to cover for me when I'm needed at home.

I have also been working on several client's masterpieces, including two new custom ceiling treatments in two venues that we haven't had the privilege of working in yet.

One wedding I am currently designing will be the largest design to date, with a venue stretching over 180' long x 80' wide.

The clients are requiring a ceiling treatment, perimeter draping, multiple soft seating areas, a stellar bar setup with cocktail tables, a kids zone with candy cart and so much more.

Other weddings are requiring Day of Coordination services, decor styling services, custom designs, greenery & floral treatments and more. We are also working on a 2026 Grad Ceremony.

It is an absolute privilege & honour to have been chosen to assist these wonderful couples with the creation of their masterpieces.

As I prepare for another trip to Vernon, I thought I had better leave you with a few inspirational images to ponder over.
