🚛 Ontario Cracks Down on Trucking Schools

A scathing new audit has triggered an emergency inspection of every private trucking college in Ontario. The goal? Fix major training gaps that put everyone on the road at risk.

Safety Gap: Big rigs make up only 3% of vehicles but are involved in 12% of fatal crashes.

Zero Oversight: 25% of trucking schools had never been inspected by the government.

The Plan:
Minister Nolan Quinn has promised that all 205 schools will be audited within six weeks. Moving forward, inspections will happen annually to w**d out "bad actors."

While opposition leaders say this move is "too little, too late," the province insists it’s now holding these institutions to the highest standards.
