We recorded this song starting on Jan 2nd, while we were still deep in the new year’s inquire of reflection.
“Survival Mode” shines a light on that fact that we don’t always know that we are nearly surviving. Sometimes it’s not until the finish line hits us like unexpected heatwave that you realize you’ve been living day to day by on pure copium (lol). Here’s to honouring making it to the other side and not shaming what survival mode looked like behind us. Let the relief hit, and feel it.
