CUPE 543

On April 28, CUPE Members across the country gather to honour workers who have been killed or injured on the job.

Our members have been keeping busy at community events supporting organizations and other locals over the last few weeks! Members recently attended the International Women’s Day Gala, Period Promise for the United Way, and a rally supporting CUPE Local 2345.

Quite disrespectful of the City of Windsor to be celebrating 311, when they are actively working on contracting out these amazing workers. You can help truly support them by filling out this petition which will tell council that you want to keep these important and vital jobs in CUPE 543.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Each night, nearly 200 people come through our doors..many facing homelessness, hunger, and the heavy burdens that life has placed on their shoulders. We are grateful to serve each one, offering a warm meal and kindness.

While we are thankful we can provide a warm meal and a safe place to gather, the need is growing.

As the numbers continue to rise, we are looking for more people to join our team. If you’ve ever thought about becoming a volunteer, now is the time. ✨

⏰ Volunteer Hours Needed: 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
