Friends, the time has come to say goodbye.

It’s been a hard decision to come to, but we have decided to close up shop. I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to do what I love for the past ten years and to have met all of CMFG’s amazing customers. Thank you so, so much.

Starting this company in 2015 was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It was exciting, scary and totally rewarding. I never would have thought my runaway sewing hobby would become a ten year business. I’ll be taking a lot of fond memories with me.

Our inspiration was always to be the best part of a bad industry. I’m not sure if we made it that far, but I had a lot of fun trying.

We’ll be selling stock for the rest of year before signing off. There’s still some online inventory if you’d like to grab a last item or two.

Hi friends, you may have noticed we’ve let go of our shop on 290 McDermot Ave.

Over the past few years, we’ve had to think strategically to navigate higher costs and a tough economy. Our vision is to produce high quality, made-in-Canada clothes at accessible prices. As you can imagine, this is a bit of a tight-rope walk. We’ve continued to trend more towards online sales & local delivery, so giving up our shop was the logical next step. We may have another physical Winnipeg location if we find a suitable fit, but for now you’ll find us online ($5 local delivery now available)
