Color grading is where average footage gets separated from high-end visuals—this is where the real work happens. Take a look at what I pulled off in this one.

From capture to final polish, here’s my full 4‑step colour grading process:

1️⃣ Shoot on Sony S‑Log3 — starting with a flat profile to maximize dynamic range and detail.
2️⃣ Convert Log ➜ Rec.709 — bringing the footage back to life and prepping it for the real work.
3️⃣ Color Grading — shaping the mood, tone, contrast, and emotion of the shot.
4️⃣ Masking & Subject Separation — guiding the eye and adding that true cinematic depth.
