I’ll guide you through posing because lets be real no one knows what to do with our hands

I’ve been thinking a lot about a session I haven’t photographed in a while.
Pregnancy.
There’s something about that stage of life that feels quiet and strong at the same time. Your body is changing, your mind is shifting, and you’re holding so much all at once.
I know how easy it is to skip documenting this season. You’re busy. You might not feel like yourself. You might be waiting until “after.” But this version of you matters too.
I would love to photograph a pregnant woman in my studio. Slow, guided, relaxed. We’ll take our time, chat, and create something honest and meaningful.
If this speaks to you, send me a email or tag someone who’s expecting and might want this experience. I’ll be small discount if you book ◡̈
Most clients walk in nervous and excited at the same time. Hands fidgeting. Small talk. Deep breaths while they look around the studio.
I start slow.
“Turn your shoulder a bit.”
“Run your fingers through your hair.”
“Look at me.”
A few photos in, the shift happens.
The nervous energy fades.
The laughs get louder.
The movement gets natural.
By the end, the same person who walked in nervous stands in front of my camera with confidence.
Watching someone step into a version of themselves they did not expect to see. Is my favourite part of the job! 📸✨

I had a recent client tell me “I almost didn’t book.”
She started following me two years ago. She has always liked my posts and would reply to my stories.
Two years of thinking this wasn’t for her.
Two years of not putting herself first.
Two years of telling herself she would feel ready “soon.”
When she walked into my studio she was nervous, excited, and quiet. She came in for her husband’s 40th birthday present. She seemed unsure on what to say and kept telling me she didn’t know how to pose.
So we took it slow.
We talked.
We laughed.
We went through her outfits.
I adjusted her hair or straps.
We bonded.
About twenty minutes in, things shifted. She was noticeably more comfortable. Her smile changed. She stopped asking if she looked okay and even took on some of the posing on her own.
After her session she said:
• I didn’t know how fun this would be
• I haven’t felt like this since before kids
• I wish I did this sooner
Most of my clients think they need to change something or have a reason before they book.
You don’t.
You show up as you are.
I guide you the whole way.
You leave seeing yourself differently.
