The Winnipeg Region is now hiring a Team Lead for the Community Summer Employment (CSEP) Grass Cutting Program in Winnipeg!

What you’ll do:

-Supervise and mentor youth trainees
-Lead the Winnipeg Region's Grass Cutting Program
-Help build skills and confidence in the next generation

The Team Lead requires a valid Manitoba Driver's License and a reliable vehicle to transport youth to work sites.

This is a full-time employment summer program that ends on August 28th 2026. The Team Lead will work Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at a rate of $22 per hour.

With the upcoming elections, there is a forum being held June 17th, and candidates will be in attendance.

Here is the event information, should you be interested in attending.

The Manitoba Métis Federation Employment & Training Department is now recruiting youth participants for the 2026 Community Summer Employment Project (CSEP) in the Winnipeg Region.

This eight-week summer employment program provides Red River Métis youth with valuable work experience, skill development opportunities, safety certifications, and hands-on training while making a positive impact in the community.

Participants will gain experience through:
• Elder Yard Maintenance
• Community Clean-up Projects
• Community Beautification Initiatives

Program Dates:
• July 6, 2026 – August 28, 2026

Eligibility Requirements:
• Red River Métis youth aged 14–20
• Currently attending school and returning in the fall
• Valid Social Insurance Number

This is a great opportunity to build your resume, develop workplace skills, earn valuable experience, and contribute to your community.
