One thing I would have done differently knowing what I know today. Is the major transition points in my life. Those times when a career path was coming to an end, yet I still didn’t know what was next.

How I handled it was to try and fill the gap, as quickly as possible, based on my skill set, rather than what I wanted.

I would have created more intentional spaces in which to pause and reflect on what aspects of myself was craving greater expression.

I would have done more exploration around my actual interest, rather than simply the job bank.

I would have placed a higher value on healing those fears that came up based on stepping into the unknown.

And I would have spent the time stimulating my excitement for other possibilities outside of what I knew and was familiar with.

Transitions can naturally stir up chaos. There is also the fear of the unknown. There is the fact that you have a life established already, and you are not as young as you once were. On top of all the other things your mind is telling you. What if we don’t make it? What if I fail?

Well friends, this can be the greatest opportunity, to change your story, and live passionately.

To get there, means that we actually put a greater value on feeling good as a part of our next step. Not just being practical. It means that we are putting our happiness closer to the top of our non-negotiable list. And it means that we are opening up to greater trust in ourselves and the path ahead. It means taking small risks, to step in the direction of our passions.

You are so worth it, and this is your life to live. Yes you may fail, but this can also be the moment that actually has you discovering more of the creative side of yourself and expressing your true gifts.

So recognize the transition for the opportunity it is.

So you’re on your business path, and things don’t seem to be happening fast enough. The timelines that you set seem to be dragging on, although you’re making progress it feels like erosion rather than the pace you want to be moving at.

You look up from time to time and think, “s**t am I ever going to get there?“

One thing we often overlook when it comes to building our businesses is it there’s aspects of us that have to catch up.

Have you had that experience where you’re moving at a good pace, things seem to be happening, then all of a sudden you hit this wall of low.

It’s like you’ve been slingshot backwards we’re nothing seems to be working, and all this old s**t seems to be surfacing?

Well this is a normal part of the process. And it’s very necessary. Because what you’re doing, is bringing up everything that standing in the way of what you are wanting.

If you resist this part of the process, you keep orbiting the aspects that need to be released.

But when you create space and allow for these things to release naturally, you increase your capacity to hold your own charge.

And because business is a vibrational game, This allows you to hold greater vibrations regardless of what is happening around you.

Therefore, when you’re designing your business also create space for your own development.

Things you want to consider are:

What do you do when you’re having an extremely down day? How do you begin to create space in those moments?

Do you trust yourself enough to step back fully?

Remember, slow and steady wins the race. Give yourself time to develop, and understand your own inner processes related to your business are just as important as the tasks that directly relate to your business development.

This one's for coaches, transformational workers, healers and big vision creators.

Have you ever felt like the personal challenges you were facing seemed to have extra voltage to it in comparison to what you witnessed around you?

It's like others are carrying the 50 pound backpack, meanwhile life has just thrown the 500 pound backpack on your shoulders. Oh and do it in the rain, while in the mud! Smiling at us, all the while all we can do is growl! Da F@ #^?

But what if we have to earn that seat that we are trying to claim at the front of the bus? What if the price of that seat is the visceral understanding of all the subtle nuances related to a challenge? What if the challenge is preparing you to lead a specific charge?

I can't tell you the number of times I have dealt with something, that a client is now facing.

I remember this time that I went to see an astrologer in my youth. She took a look at an aspect of my chart and her response was, “Ok, how can I say this? You are going to have a challenging road, but it's going to be so worth it.” (Smile, eyebrows raised!) That is what her mouth said. Her face said, thank god I don't have this chart!

The challenges we face help us to be more compassionate, and understanding with our clients. They also provide a realistic understanding of timelines.

So if you are going through something right now, of which it seems heavy. Know that this is your crucible. You are meant to walk through this fire. And what you are going to come away with on the other side, is a more refined version of you. One that can stay more upright then you could have before. And have an intimate understanding of yourself and an aspect of life that not everyone does.

So when you hear someone speaking similarly about a challenge they are facing, It may be your que.

Not being able to hold our power can cause a lot of challenges. Especially for those of us who have businesses which require us to step out, be able to take up space, and be heard and seen. Many times in the face of contrary opinions.

For me I had a preference for being liked and accepted vs being on the wrong side of popular opinion. This was definitely the safe way to go about it but not the most advantageous for my business.

Whether it was not following through on important tasks. Allowing talkative clients to control the coaching sessions, to accepting consistent disrespect with no show no contact. To hide in busy work rather than the tasks that are needle movers for my business.

If you have experienced this, I have something that can help.

First, decide to do the scary thing. And I am not just talking about just a decision from your mind. I am talking about a full body resolve to do the thing. To step into the discomfort feeling the butterflies and all.

Next, sit with uncomfortable feelings. Simply close your eyes, see yourself doing the thing. Allow the fears to come up, but be in your sensory awareness. What you are doing here is opening your awareness to be inclusive of what you may have not paid attention to before.

Once they start to dissipate, then you can begin to focus on the brighter side of the picture. What is your reason for doing the thing? What is it building in you by following through? Then feel that as well. Except this time, you are intentionally expanding that good feeling throughout your body.

Next, once that state is anchored throughout your body do the scary thing. At this point you may feel the butterflies once again, but at least you have demonstrated to yourself your ability to change your state.

Lastly, celebrate. Celebrating the small wins reinforces your
