A Canada Day to remember 🙌
Last Wednesday, The Forks wrapped up ᐊᐧᐦᑯᐦᑐᐃᐧᐣ Wáhkóhtowin - Many Nations, One Heartbeat with a Canada Day celebration filled with culture, community, and connection.
From welcoming Canada's newest citizens to sharing food, music, dance, and traditions from around the world, it was a day filled with joy and community.

Une fête du Canada mémorable 🙌
Mercredi dernier, La Fourche a conclu l’événement ᐊᐧᐦᑯᐦᑐᐃᐧᐣ Wáhkóhtowin – Plusieurs nations, un seul cœur en offrant une célébration de la fête du Canada imprégnée de culture, d’engagement communautaire et de rapprochements.
De l’accueil de nouveaux citoyens canadiens au partage de la nourriture, à la musique, à la danse et au partage des traditions du monde entier, ce fut une journée remplie de joie et d’esprit communautaire.
Merci à tous ceux et celles qui ont participé! Nous remercions d’avoir coorganisé cet événement, .consulting de sa direction artistique, -Canada de son appui à titre de commanditaire et le gouvernement du Canada d’avoir rendu possible la tenue de cet événement ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for National Indigenous Peoples Day! The Forks was filled with community as we came together to honour Indigenous cultures, traditions, and stories through music, dance, teachings, art, and connection.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners, performers, Knowledge Keepers, Elders, vendors, volunteers, and everyone who helped bring this day to life. Your generosity, talent, and spirit made this celebration truly special.
The celebration doesn't stop here! Many Nations, One Heartbeat continues all week long, with plenty more opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate.
