He is risen!

This Sunday is Palm Sunday and that means the beginning of Holy Week. It’s kind of a big deal in the community of those who believe in and orient their lives around Jesus, and we have some traditions in church that give shape to our experience of these days.

Join us for our gatherings over next week!

April 2nd, 6:00pm - Maundy Thursday Potluck and Communion. Bring a dish to share for this evening gathering with our brothers and sisters from Faith Covenant Church (hosted at their place - 1229 Windermere Ave.). We remember Jesus’ final meal with his disciples, eat together, and hear the call to love one another.

April 3rd, 10:30am - Good Friday Service. This day remembers Jesus’ self-giving death on the cross. We mark the day with a service of scripture, prayer, and hymns that is simple, liturgical, and interactive all at the same time.

April 5th, 9:30am - Easter Sunday Breakfast and Worship. Jesus is risen from the dead and we will celebrate that together! Join us at 9:30am for a big ole continental breakfast and a first hearing of the Easter story, and then stick around for a joyful service of celebration (beginning at the usual time of 10:30am).
