Meeting ID: 886 7396 4086About Presenter:

Amanda found her love for the aviation industry at the age of 12 when she joined the Royal Canadian Air Cadets and learned a respect for weather while completing her glider and private pilot’s licences in 2004 and 2005 respectively. With these passions well established, Amanda graduated with a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science from York University in 2011. She began her career with Environment and Climate Change Canada in 2012 and has had the privilege of working for both Canadian Meteorological Aviation Centres in Edmonton and Montreal. She sought out an adventure in 2016-2018, forecasting for the aviation industry in New Zealand, enjoying weather the spins the other way and forecasting volcanic ash in the south-west Pacific. Amanda is fluently bilingual, a skill that has proven necessary for both her career and life in Montreal.

Swift Current flyin!
Murray from Saskatoon has arranged the following:

Swift current fly in!!

Saturday October 3,2020 looks like a good day to go flying and have a picnic!

Swift Current has self serve fuel and a nice grass area down by the fuel pumps to picnic. The Terminal is closed because of COVID but there is a biffy down by the pumps.

Plan is to meet there about 11:30 AM for a picnic. Bring you own lunch and chair. Just follow the river and lake to get there.

If you know of anybody else that would like to go that isn't on this email, could you let them know.

PS: Self serve fuel is $1.76/litre according to ForeFlight.
