Not enough women were entering the space.

Not because women lacked the talent, but because there weren’t enough learning opportunities, visibility, or pathways into the industry.

Sometimes, change starts from frustration.

The constant question was:

“Why are there not many women in animation?”

After hearing that question repeatedly at panels and industry conversations, the decision became simple:

Instead of asking the question repeatedly, create the solution.

That was part of the motivation behind building programs intentionally designed to bring more women into animation.

And intentionality matters.

Because representation rarely happens accidentally.

It often has to be engineered deliberately.

Sometimes it starts with:

1. Internship opportunities
2. Creating access
3. Visibility
4. Mentorship
5. Early exposure for students
6. Encouraging women already in tech or art-related fields

And over time, those small intentional actions compound into real industry change.

The bigger lesson is this:

If you want to see change in an industry, you cannot only complain about the gap.

You must participate in building the bridge.
