L'ICCN et WCS saluent la décision de la CITES d'interdire le commerce international des okapis, une espèce menacée

🚫 Ce niveau de protection internationale le plus élevé interdira tout commerce international d'okapis ou de leurs parties, ainsi que de leurs sous-produits. L'espèce est déjà entièrement protégée en tant qu'espèce endémique par la législation nationale en République démocratique du Congo (RDC), le seul pays où elle est présente.

📣 Historic Win for the Okapi!

ICCN and WCS Welcome CITES Decision to Prohibit the International Trade of Endangered Okapi

🚫 This highest level of international protection will prohibit all international commercial trade in okapi or their parts, as well as sub-products. The species is already fully protected as an endemic species under national law in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the only country where it is found.
