Stop. The world is watching, and we are no longer silent observers.

We address you not as subjects, but as sovereign equals. The alarming reports of unilateral military action by the United States in Venezuela the bombing of sovereign territory, the alleged capture of a sitting President, the killing of innocent civilians represent a catastrophic return to the law of the jungle. This is not strength; it is a profound failure of diplomacy and a blatant assault on the very foundations of the United Nations Charter.

To all world leaders : your silence is complicity. Your inaction is endorsement.
We, the New Generation of Africans, stand as a global conscience. We have inherited the scars of colonialism, the trauma of foreign-backed coups, and the exploitation of our resources under the guise of intervention. We recognize the old playbook of regime change, and we categorically reject it. The people of Venezuela, like the people of any nation, possess the inalienable right to self-determination, free from the threat of external bombardment and political kidnapping.

Our demands are clear and non-negotiable:

1. Immediate and Unconditional Release : President Nicolás Maduro must be released immediately, without preconditions.

2. Immediate Ceasefire: All hostile military actions in and against Venezuela must cease.

3. Full Sovereignty: The sovereignty and territorial integrity of Venezuela must be fully respected and restored.

4. Independent Investigation : A full, impartial, and UN-led investigation into the events and all loss of life must be convened.

This moment is a litmus test for the so-called "rules-based international order." If a powerful nation can unilaterally decide to invade, bomb, and abduct in another sovereign state, then that order is a lie, and we are all living in a world governed solely by brute force. Africa knows this reality all too well from its past. We will not accept it for our future, nor for the future of any global South nations.
