Lesson 1. Greeting(salutation)

*Greeting is the noun from the verb to ''greet''.
*Salutation est le nom qui vient du verbe ''saluer''.

*In english we have two(2) kinds of greeting: formal greetings and informal greetings.
*En anglais nous avons deux (2) genres de salutation : salutations formelles et salutations informelles.

A) formal greetings
-Good morning! Bonjour !
-Good afternoon! Bon après midi
-Good evening! Bonsoir !
B) informal greetings
-Hello! Bonjour, réponse: hello
-Hi! Bonjour, réponse : hello
-Bow! Bonjour à tous, réponse : hello.
-I greet you! Je te (vous) salue, réponse : hello.
-Hey! Bonjour, réponse : hey or hello.
-shake hands! Bonjour (en saisissant les mains), réponse : shake hand. Etc.

Notice: Good night is a wish.
N.B: Bonne nuit est un souhait et non une salutation (en anglais).
