A Story of Resilience ✨

The past 4 months have been relentless: a job loss, personal and professional challenges, and a car accident just one week before my competition. With a blocked back and neck, pain and doubt consumed me. Everything seemed to be working against me, and I came close to giving up. But I wanted to end this year with something I could be proud of.

On competition day, things started badly. Two squats were red-lighted. I walked off the platform in tears, convinced I had failed. Then Aurélien, my handler for the day, reminded me of the essential: as long as I was still there, nothing was over. I saved my final attempt. From that moment, everything changed: PRs started falling, the lifts felt effortless, and I finished with a total of 315 kg, +15 kg since May. 🔥

This 3rd place medal (-76/-84/+84) is more than a podium finish. It’s a victory over everything life has thrown my way in recent months.
The numbers may not yet reflect the full extent of my efforts, but this competition reminded me of one essential truth: resilience always pays off.
No matter the obstacles, the key is to stay focused, see things through, and never give up.

What’s next? Even more focus, perseverance, and progress. Because being part of means refusing to settle for less. 🦍❤️

Definitely my favorite lift of them all ! 😍
I still can't get over this third attempt which was a +7.5kgs increase on my personal best. And it moved so fast ! I can't wait to keep working on this movement and work on heavier loads ❤️‍🔥
