Description.-

Everyday life, which used to flow, was suddenly blocked by Covid 19 as if by a rock, but somehow it kept flowing slowly. Everything was slower and had to go differently than before. All my senses expanded during this slow time due to the isolation. There I was listening to the birds singing that I had missed before, breathing the air so clean and feeling the smallest sounds that filled the silence. I could fully feel time, and every moment seemed like an eternity. Some senses seemed to be maximized with physical isolation. A bit like the enhanced sense of hearing of the blind, it was an experience that surpassed all existing limits for me.
Strangely, during this period of isolation, I was finally able to exist as myself. Isolation is a limitation. Ironically, people can become freer through limitations. Just as the body is indispensable to the existence of the self, just as the rights of the individual are free within the framework of society, just as the limitations of life can be eternally released through death.
This period of isolation, in which the senses are heightened, is linked on a metaphorical level to the moment of insomnia. It reminds me of a sleepless night that is quiet on the surface but noisy inside. Outside the window, there is only a faint sound that I don't know where it comes from. During this time, everything seems to float freely in the darkness, although I feel as if I am isolated in my body. You never know when it started or when it ends, it has no direction, no speed, no meaning, no purpose. It is completely free and isolated.
