Leonard Mavi’s new single “Nothing Forever” is the emotional centerpiece of his debut EP. The track reflects on the fragile nature of emotional memory and guides us through a dreamy wall of faraway harmonium and synth melodies, while close to us, we are held by the piano and acoustic guitar. Meanwhile, the repeated phrase “Do I remember what I felt?” is a reminder that those moments of feeling grounded existed — and that they can return.
