🇫🇷 Le chat dans la nature est vulnerable au moment où il fait ses besoins. Nos chats domestiques ont aussi gardé cet instinct. Il est donc essentiel pour eux que leur bac à litière soit un endroit où ils se sentent en sécurité.

Un bac à litière idéal doit remplir les critères suivantes:
✔️ Être suffisamment grand pour que le chat puisse tourner dedans
✔️ Être ouvert - sans couvercle ni de porte battante pour que le chat puisse voir autour de lui et prendre une bonne position pour éliminer
✔️ Avoir suffisamment de substrat dedans pour pouvoir creuser un trou et recouvrir ensuite
✔️ Avoir un type de substrat fin et non-parfumé qui ne leur fait pas mal aux pattes
✔️ Être placé au bon endroit dans la maison

Malheureusement, très souvent les bacs à litière et la litière dans le commerce ne correspondent pas aux besoins du chat, faites donc attention à vérifier le votre 🐾

An ideal litter box should meet the following criteria:
✔️ Be large enough that the cat can turn in it
✔️ Be open - no cover or swing door so the cat can see around and take a good position to eliminate
✔️ Have enough substrate in it to be able to dig a hole and then cover it up
✔️ Have a thin, unscented type of substrate that doesn't hurt their paws
✔️ Be placed in the right place in the house

Unfortunately very often the litter boxes and the litter in the shops do not meet the needs of the cat, so be careful to check yours 🐾
