: Pat Steir, the New York-based printmaker and painter famed for her iconic “Waterfall” canvases, has died at age 87. Steir’s husband, Joost Elffers, and her niece Lily Sukoneck-Cohen confirmed that the artist died of natural causes in Manhattan on the morning of March 25.

Athens, December 13, 2025 at 3.30pm, Benaki Museum Pireos The Flux Laboratory, in partnership with the Benaki Museum and ART for The World, presents the performance Bolero by Andonis Foniadakis.The performance is part of the events that are taking place on the occasion of CHRISTMAS AT THE BENAKI MUSEUM, organized in the context of the Playgrounds & Toys 2000-2025 exhibition,a donation by ART for The World.

This photo taken at the 2025 Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Yerevan— It brings back strong memories, since ART for The World has produced short movies with each of those amazing filmmakers: "N’Dimagou (Dignity)" in 2008 with Abdelrahmane Sissako, "The Accordion". in 2010 with Jafari Panahi, and "Tatanka in 2019 with Eric Nazarian.
