💧 En 2024, WATA Technology a su renforcer les partenariats déjà existants, créer de nouvelles synergies avec les acteurs du secteur WASH & distribuer ses produits WATA dans le monde entier dans le cadre d’urgences humanitaires & de projets de développement pour fournir un accès à de l'eau potable et améliorer les conditions d'hygiène dans les zones rurales et périurbaines.

🌍 Notre équipe a visité plusieurs pays - Éthiopie, Kenya, Ghana, Zambie, RDC, Congo et Cameroun - et a pu compter sur son solide réseau de partenaires en Afrique.

Last month, our CTO Hachem Znaidi went to Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of Congo with a full agenda : meeting with WASH sector local actors, training session with technical partner & field visits to suburban sites equipped with our WATA Technology systems !

👉 DRC is a priority country in WATALUX’s mission & projects since 2019. Only 52% of the population* has access to an improved water source, and disinfecting this water is essential to ensure the health of the communities supplied.

✔ Active collaboration with Enabel en RD Congo & the local ASUREP networks since 2021, leading to 7 projects of access to drinking water successfully deployed in the regions of Maniema, Kasaï Oriental, North & South Kivu. Special appreciations to the project manager & the coordinator of the Programme EAU Enabel for their qualitative cooperation & trust in WATALUX over the years !

✔ On-site visit of the municipality of Mont-Ngafula to support NanoKin project conducted by Université de Kinshasa-UNIKIN & Université de Genève, which has equipped 30 sites with WATA systems to improve access to drinking water to local communities.

✔ Meeting with WASH representatives of Unicef Rdc Kinshasa supporting new projects in the access to drinking water & infection prevention in health centers.

✔ Training of 10 new team members of our historical technical partner GoShop Energy to ensure the quality of our WATA systems installation, training & maintenance on the field.

👉 In RC, only 56% of the population* has access to drinking water. In 2021, a pilot project took place with UNICEF Congo Brazza and 10 WATA-Plus being deployed on the Congo River corridor.

✔ Meeting UNICEF Congo Brazza was important to discuss the challenges to ensure access to drinking water & infection prevention in health centers in the country, and how WATA solutions can contribute to these sustainable development goals.
