Directed by Haitian filmmaker Wendy Desert and selected for the 2024 Open Doors Screenings, the film is born from the powerful collaboration between dancer-choreographer Linda I. François and Desert herself. A blend of song, poem, trance, and ritual, “Kenbe Alada” opens the door to a world where every gesture becomes a story of identity and origins.
