Hothothot GmbH ( .hot.hot.gmbh )ist sowohl Küchenkollektiv und Catering als auch Kunstprojekt und Eventorganisation. Eine zuverlässige Dienstleisterin, die performative Essenserlebnisse kreiert. Für migma kollaboriert Hothothot GmbH mit Leonie Hossli. Im Rahmen ihrer Bachelorarbeit in Textildesign an der HSLU setzt sie sich mit opulent barockem Schauessen auseinander.

Hothothot GmbH is both a kitchen collective and catering service, as well as an art project and event organizer. A reliable provider that creates performative dining experiences. For migma, Hothothot GmbH is collaborating with Leonie Hossli. As part of her Bachelor’s thesis in textile design at HSLU, she explores the concept of opulent Baroque banquet displays.

Postkartenansicht, druckfrisch. Beidseitig. «Mer hends halt scho schön do!» Zirpende Hochgebirgswiesen überdeckt vom Serversummen und digital beeps, den Ventilatorwind der Kühlungsanlage im Gesicht. Auf und ab, auf und ab, bewach die Leere – welch einfache Geduldsübung. Ein Land glaubt an die Berge. «Flip a coin long enough, both sides come up tails.»

Postcard picture point, hot off the press. Double-sided. «How beautiful we have it here.» Chirping alpine meadows masked by the hum of server racks and digital beeps, some cooling fan winds caress your cheeks. Up and down, up and down, guard the hollow – a simple exercise in patience. A nation puts its faith in the mountains. «Flip a coin long enough, both sides come up tails.»

Mein Raum. Anastasiya Shtemenko ( .stiia ) erkundet in ihrer Performance, wie es ist, den eigenen Raum zu verlieren – im direkten und übertragenen Sinne. Als Ukrainerin wurde ihr schmerzlich bewusst, was es bedeutet, wenn ein anderer Staat nicht nur das eigene Territorium versucht zu okkupieren, sondern auch die Kultur und die Sprache. Wie verhält sich der eigene Körper, wenn der physische Raum immer kleiner wird? Der Ausgang der Performance ist offen, genauso wie der Ausgang des russischen Angriffskrieges auf die Ukraine.

My Space. In her performance, Anastasiya Shtemenko explores what it means to lose one’s own space—both in a literal and figurative sense. As a Ukrainian, she has painfully come to realize what it means when another state not only attempts to occupy one’s territory but also one’s culture and language. How does the body respond when physical space keeps shrinking? The outcome of the performance remains open—just like the outcome of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
 

Im Akt des Chläusin*werden sucht ‚nSchuppel nach Verletzlichkeit und Durchlässigkeit zwischen Körpern und unterläuft dabei gängige Vorstellungen des Brauchtums. In loser Referenz auf das appenzellische Silvesterchlausen erzählen die Figuren Geschichten des sich Verlierens und wieder Zusammenfindens, der Veränderung und Vergänglichkeit. Oft ambivalent, aber in Achtung einer alten Tradition, weicht ‚nSchuppel ab in rhythmische Abwege und Unklänge, spürt unerwarteten Resonanzen nach.

In the act of becoming*Chläusin, ‚nSchuppel seeks vulnerability and permeability between bodies, subtly subverting conventional notions of tradition. Loosely referencing the Appenzell Silvesterchlausen, the figures tell stories of losing oneself and coming together again, of change and impermanence. With a sense of ambivalence yet an awareness of tradition, ‚nSchuppel deviates into rhythmic detours and dissonances, tracing unexpected resonances.
